Description
The smallest soil aerating- and injection device of the Geo Injector family enables the injection of granules, water storage, liquid fertilizers, water and air.
The container holds 2 liters of granules (max. grain size 4mm) and can be filled quickly and easily. The integrated viewing window enables level control. By the engaging lever in the control panel the aeration or injection takes place. This process can be done individually in different depths. With a quick release fastener, the granule tank can be exchanged with the optional fluid adapter piece. This makes it possible to use water and liquid fertilizer with an inlet pressure from 2 bar (pump, domestic water pipe). The VOGT TurboSpade can also be used for grave- stem and compaction works.
The small soil injection device model Geo Injector mini is ideal for professional use as well as for do-it-yourself use. The other three models from the GEO Injector series are maxi, pro and fluid.
With soil aeration, compressed air is blown into the soil with a compressed air lance or, in other words, shot into it. The existing solid soil structure is broken up and oxygen-permeable. This creates air spaces and soil pores, with the result that the soil can breathe again and carry water.
The VGI is a small device for soil aeration and soil injection. For the start in this area it is sufficient to loosen up compacted soil areas and make them permeable. It can be used to better supply the root area of trees and shrubs.
Healthy planting by soil injection
At tree and plant locations, there is always compaction of the soil due to construction work, roads and paths. As a result, the trees, shrubs or lawns lack the necessary soil air as a basis for healthy growth. A soil injection device is an effective remedy.
With compressed air between 5.0 and 8.0 bar, soil compaction is removed without damaging the roots. The basic equipment of the small device for soil aeration includes the injection lance, the TurboSpade, the injection unit and the pressure hose connection. A compressor is required separately.
In order to prevent the loosening achieved by soil injection from only lasting for a short time, clay granules can be poured directly into the soil through the injection system. The particularly suitable granules have a grain size of 3 to 4 mm and are injected in a dry state. As a result, the created channels are preserved. Excessive water seeps down and the soil air can now spread much better. In addition, with the soil injection, a targeted application of nutrients directly to the roots is possible.
